HGL ART Preschool is an arts-based early childhood education program designed to nurture creativity, curiosity, and self-expression in children ages 2 to 5. Rooted in a play-based, interdisciplinary approach, the school integrates visual arts, language development, and sensory exploration into its everyday learning environment. Located in a vibrant creative community, HGL ART emphasizes a warm, inspiring atmosphere where young children can grow and thrive through artistic discovery.

As part of developing the school's visual identity, I created a custom-designed wayfinding system tailored specifically for young children. The objective was to support the daily experience of students, teachers, and families by making navigation throughout the space intuitive, welcoming, and developmentally appropriate.

The icons were designed with clear shapes, bold colors, and friendly visual language—ensuring they are easily recognizable and engaging for young learners. Each graphic aligns with the school’s branding tone: playful yet refined, educational yet artistic.

Beyond the design phase, I managed the entire production process—working directly with a local signage vendor to translate the digital assets into high-quality physical pieces. The final signs were installed across the school’s interior, including classroom entrances, bathrooms, activity areas, and shared spaces, reinforcing a cohesive and functional visual environment.

This project demonstrates both my design execution and hands-on coordination in bringing visual identity into real-world application—bridging the gap between thoughtful design and purposeful space-making for young children.
